SLAMMERS FC HB KØGE NAMED ECNL GIRLS OVERALL CLUB CHAMPION, TOP 25 CLUBS REVEALED

Slammers FC HB KØGE earns league-leading sixth overall club championship

RICHMOND, Va. (August 14, 2025) - The ECNL is proud to announce Slammers FC HB KØGE has won the 2024-25 ECNL Girls Overall Club Championship, the club's league-leading sixth overall club championship.

This honor is awarded to the club that earned the highest total points from regular-season conference games and performance at the ECNL National Playoffs and Finals. Winning this championship requires consistent excellence across all age groups throughout the season.

"The Southwest Conference continues to be one of the strongest regions of competition in the league, making Slammers FC HB KØGE's win even more impressive," said ECNL Girls Commissioner Chris Leahey. "The club prioritizes this award every year, and it shows with their continued excellence in every age group. Congratulations to everyone involved with the club on this tremendous achievement."

Slammers FC HB KØGE was one of just six clubs to send every age group to the ECNL Girls National Finals, and finished first in the Southwest Conference in the U13, U15 and U17 level. Its U18/19 team won the ECNL Girls National Championship, that age group's second national championship, and also had its U13 team finish as a national finalist.

Last year's overall club champion and conference foe, San Diego Surf, finished second in the overall club rankings. San Diego Surf defeated Slammers FC HB KØGE in the U13 National Championship, while also winning the U14 National Championship. The club sent five teams to the ECNL Girls National Playoffs, and its U16 squad placed first in the Southwest Conference.

Michigan Hawks placed third by winning the U15 National Championship and finishing as a runner-up in the U14 National Championship. Michigan Hawks also ended the season at the top of the Midwest Conference in the U14. U17 and U18/19 age groups.

Rounding out the Top 5 is Penn Fusion SA, who's four first-place conference finishes were tied for the most by any club this season, and Solar SC.
