The college corner highlights standout ECNL alums who were named Players of the Week from their respective NCAA Division 1 conferences around the country. This week features a number of players who were outstanding on the field for their college teams.
ACC Defensive Player of the Week
Erynn Floyd - Louisville
ECNL Club - CFC
Floyd totaled 10 saves to preserve the shutout in a scoreless draw with No. 13 Notre Dame on Saturday, October 12. The clean sheet marked the first time in 25 matches that the Fighting Irish had been held without a goal, as they entered the weekend with the ninth-best scoring offense in the nation (2.73 goals per match). The Wilton, Connecticut, native made five stops in each half, as Floyd became the first Cardinal to record double-figure saves since 2020. In conference matches this season, Floyd's 10 saves are the most in a shutout.

Gianna Christiansen - Arizona
ECNL Club - So Cal Blues
Christiansen helped lead Arizona over UCF with a 3-2 victory at a neutral site. Originally scheduled as a game in Orlando, weather shifted the match to Houston. The senior midfielder knocked in the match's first goal in the 12th minute before she scored the game-winner after converting a penalty kick in the 81st minute. She also dished out an assist as she ended the contest with five points during her second career brace. Christiansen is the second Wildcat to claim a weekly offensive honor this season.

Ashleigh Williams - Texas Tech
ECNL Club - Sting Black
Williams scored two of the three goals registered by the Red Raiders last week. She scored the team's lone goal during the 1-1 draw against Colorado, her fourth of the season. The senior from Allen, Texas then converted a penalty kick in the 67th minute as TTU shut out Iowa State 2-0, marking her third straight game scoring a goal. This is Williams' first Big 12 weekly accolade this year and the fifth of her career.

Jordan Nytes - Colorado
ECNL Club - Real Colorado
Nytes grabbed 11 saves as Colorado tied Texas Tech 1-1 and tallied a scoreless draw against UCF. Her .917 save percentage during the week increased her season percentage to .853 (64 saves), the third-best in the Conference this season. The Centennial, Colorado native has procured nine shutouts this year, tying for the third-most posted by any CU goalkeeper in a season. This is Nytes' fourth honor this season.

Maia Richters - Wisconsin
ECNL Club - Michigan Hawks
Scored the game-winning goal against No. 9 Iowa to secure the upset in the Badgers' 2-0 week which also included a win over Indiana. The senior has played 849 minutes this season and started in all 14 contests.
Big Ten Freshman of the Week
Ines Derrien - USC
ECNL Club - San Diego Surf
Derrien scored her first collegiate goal against Northwestern, as her second half penalty kick proved to be the game-winner in the 2-1 win. The freshman also played 31 minutes and recorded two shots in the 3-2 win over Illinois.
SEC Goalkeeper of the Week
Sara Wojdelko - Vanderbilt
ECNL Club - Michigan Hawks
Vanderbilt's Sara Wojdelko, a senior goalkeeper from Northville, Michigan, tied her season-high with 10 saves over two matches. She held Texas A&M scoreless with five saves, then followed up with five more in a 1-1 draw against Kentucky. Wojdelko's performance helped the Commodores earn key points and keep them competitive in SEC play.
