El Camino Talent ID for the Mexican Federation
The Federación Mexicana de Futbol (FMF) is honored to invite you to be part of 'El
Camino', our talent identification program designed to discover and support Mexican players
with the potential and projection to reach high-performance football.
The program will take place across seven cities in the United States, on the following
dates:
1. Dallas, Texas | April 11–12, 2026
2. Laredo, Texas | April 18–19, 2026
3. Houston, Texas | April 25–26, 2026
4. Chicago, Illinois | May 2–3, 2026
5. Los Angeles, California | May 9–10, 2026
6. San Diego, California | May 16–17, 2026
7. Sacramento, California | May 23–24, 2026
Each tryout consists of two days:
- Day 1 — Open session for all players with talent and high-performance projection
registered at elcamino.fmf.mx
Participation is completely free of charge. - Day 2 — Exclusive session for players selected during the first filter.
Once all seven tryouts have been completed, 30 players in each category will be invited
to the one week training camp, where they will receive training from the coaching staffs of
the Mexican National Teams, according to their category and division.
To conclude the process, 4 'El Camino' select teams in the Sub-14 and Sub-15
categories — 2 boys and 2 girls — will compete in the Supercopa FMF in Mexico City,
where they will face:
- The Mexican Youth National Teams.
- The champion teams of the CONADE Olimpiada Nacional.
- Amateur Sector select teams.
At the Supercopa FMF 2026, the most outstanding players will have the opportunity to be
scouted by representatives of the Mexican Youth National Teams, increasing their chances of competing in international tournament.
