A joint program between the ECNL, Nike, and US Club Soccer, the ECNL Conference Cup, Presented by Discount Tire is the penultimate event in the league's yearly player identification calendar. Formerly known as "National Training Camp," the ECNL Conference Cup event has been revamped and reimagined to provide players with more opportunities to compete in meaningful and highly competitive games with the top talent from each ECNL conference, ultimately culminating in a championship game to determine the event winner.
Following meticulous scouting in league and national event play, a recommendation process, and collaboration amongst our player identification staff, the top players in the country are selected and invited to attend the event. Once on site, athletes are broken into teams of 15 based on their ECNL conference allegiance, with strategic pairings based on regions across the nation. From there, teams partake in a series of games across three or four days, with the top performing teams advancing to determine the overall champion. The only cost associated with this event for players attending is transportation to and from the event site. All housing, ground transportation, meals, snacks, staffing, facility rentals, training gear, and equipment are provided and covered by the ECNL and Nike.
The 2025 edition of the ECNL Girls Conference Cup, Presented by Discount Tire will include 120 of the nations top players from the 2010, 2009, and 2008 age groups broken into 8 teams. The ECNL Boys Conference Cup, Presented by Discount Tire will include 60 of the nations top players from the 2008/2007 and 2009 age groups broken into 4 teams.
