The ECNL Girls National Championship matchups are set in the U15, U16, and U17 age groups, after another day of thrilling games across 60 Acres Park in Seattle, while in the ECNL Regional League Girls, action got underway with quarterfinal games in Seattle, as teams began their quest to claim the ECNL Regional League Girls National Championship.
In the U17 age group, FC Dallas marched to the U17 ECNL Girls National Championship with another strong defensive performance that saw them beat fellow Texas rival Solar SC 2-0. The win was the third clean sheet in four games for FC Dallas and set up a showdown in the championship against Match Fit Surf. Match Fit Surf knocked off Legends FC San Diego 3-1 in the other semifinal to book their spot in Friday's championship.
In the U16 Champions League, it's Michigan Hawks and Real Colorado National who will meet for the title. The defending champions in the G10 age group, Michigan Hawks knocked off FC Dallas 3-1 in the semifinals to keep their hopes of back-to-back National Championships alive, while on the other side, Real Colorado National defeated Penn Fusion SA 1-0 to book their place in the final.
In the U15 ECNL Girls National Championship, So Cal Blues will face off against Concorde Fire Platinum. So Cal advanced to the final with a 2-0 win over Nationals SC, while Concorde Fire Platinum survived penalty kicks over Michigan Hawks, behind three huge saves in the shootout.
All three U15-U17 ECNL Girls National Championship games will take place on Friday.
