RICHMOND, Va. (May 13, 2026) - The ECNL is thrilled to announce the launch of the ECNL Coach Development Diplomas, an expansion to the ECNL Coaching Education Center, powered by the Coaches' Voice. The ECNL Coach Development Diplomas will provide coaches with deeper, more specialized content in specific learning areas for ongoing coach education and development.
The first Coach Development Diploma released in the Coach Education Center is the Expert in Youth Football Diploma, focusing on coaching in the U12 and below age groups, and providing coaches a clear methodology for coaching young players in these critical stages of development. The content in the Expert in Youth Football Diploma has been developed by the Coaches' Voice School and implemented by coaches at Manchester City, LAFC, River Plate and national federations across the Americas. This Diploma has four units and 40 hours of material including a framework for planning sessions and seasons, and a deeper understanding of how young players learn, develop physically, and grow in their game.
