INAUGURAL ECNL INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT, POWERED BY COACHES’ VOICE, IN ASSOCIATION WITH EVERTON INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY TO LAUNCH IN MAY 2026

ECNL Boys & ECNL Girls teams will compete against Premier League and WSL academies

The first ever ECNL International Tournament, powered by Coaches' Voice and in association with Everton International Academy will be held in Europe when top performing ECNL Boys and ECNL Girls teams travel to the United Kingdom in May 2026 to compete against Premier League and Women's Super League academy teams at Everton FC's world-class first-team training facilities.

A Defining Moment for the ECNL

The ECNL International Tournament, powered by Coaches' Voice and in association with Everton International Academy marks a defining moment in the ECNL's history and its arrival on the international stage.

For the first time ever, ECNL Boys and Girls teams will travel internationally to compete with some of the best academies in the world, in an event that will challenge, inspire, and create life-long memories. Four teams from ECNL Boys, and four from ECNL Girls, selected based on their performance in the 2025 ECNL Playoffs, will make the trip across the Atlantic to measure themselves against world class opponents.

The Highest Level of Competition

ECNL Boys teams will compete against legendary Premier League academies, including Everton Academy Boys' team, while ECNL Girls teams will match up against storied Women's Super League Academies, including Everton Academy Girls' team in the event, as all clubs showcase players who are hoping to be among the next generation of global soccer stars in one trans-Atlantic tournament.

The International Tournament reflects a joint commitment from all three organizations to developing and challenging top players while creating meaningful sporting connections and relationships across countries.

Immersed in the Premier League Experience

This tournament experience will go beyond the matches as well. Teams will train and compete at Everton's first-team training facilities, some of the best in all of the sport, with access to the same pitches and infrastructure as the professional teams.

Thanks to the support of the Everton International Academy, participating teams will also get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium, which has been selected as a host venue for the Euro 2028 tournament.

Teams will also receive tickets to a men's Everton FC home match, giving athletes the chance to witness the atmosphere and intensity of English soccer first-hand.

Beyond the Pitch

The ECNL International Tournament, powered by Coaches' Voice and in association with Everton International Academy is designed not just to bring together teams from across the world, but also to provide a tremendous cultural experience.

Athletes will explore Liverpool and Manchester, two cities defined by their soccer culture and rich histories. There will be a variety of guided tours and activities, including a visit to England's National Football Museum, all designed to provide an unforgettable experience on and off the pitch.

Operated by Coaches' Voice Tours and Supported By The ECNL
