The ECNL has released the second episode of its original documentary series A Day in the League® with the ECNL, presented by Continental Tire, featuring Tori McKool, former Division 1 soccer player, Atlanta Fire United alumni, and current ECNL content creator.
McKool grew up playing soccer in the ECNL for Atlanta Fire United, before committing to Middle Tennessee State University. After one season with the Blue Raiders, McKool reached out to the ECNL and worked her first event as a content creator at ECNL Tennessee in 2021.
"I loved being in the ECNL and I wondered if there was any way I would be able to get my foot back into that," McKool said. "It was something I wanted to see if it could be a path for me."
The ECNL's second A Day in the League® with the ECNL documentary takes viewers inside McKool's journey from ECNL player, to alumni, to now working in the league and inspiring the next wave of ECNL athletes.
"Being able to relive what it was once like as a player, but through a lens has been so rewarding," McKool said. "I'm super excited to keep pursuing my social media dreams, making content, and inspiring the next generation of players."
"Not only is Tori capturing and creating content that we share during events, she's the one coming up with the ideas," said ECNL Creative Director Andrea Cortez. "To see her ideas come to life and to see how happy it not only makes her, but it also makes the kids on site, is really creating these lifelong memories for the both of them."
