Day 1 of the ECNL Regional League Boys National Finals is finished, and four teams in each age group punched their ticket to the semifinals. Get caught up on all the action below. 

U17 Bracket

Reigning U16 ECNL Regional League National Champions Kansas Rush were back in Richmond, vying to become part of the exclusive club to win back-to-back national titles. The squad took its first step Friday, cruising to a quarterfinal victory and a spot in the semifinals versus Richmond United, the hometown team. On the other side of the bracket, PSA Monmouth played a hearty affair against Colorado Rapids and OK Energy FC dispatched Washington Premier to advance to the semifinals as well.

U16 Bracket

Highland FC had the most thrilling match of the U16s Friday, advancing in penalties against HTX by scoring on all five of the team's attempts, and will now face off against San Diego Surf, who shut out FC United Iowa in their opening round. Meanwhile, Chicago Inter knocked off the reigning U15 national champions in Philadelphia Ukranian Nationals, and Kernow Storm FC advanced to the semis with a win against Legends FC.

U15 Bracket

In the U15 bracket, East Coast FC battled with Slammers FC, eventually closing out a 2-1 win, while Coastal Rush faced off against a spirited Northern Indiana Express squad and earned a clean sheet with a 2-0 victory. Delaware FC, who will be promoted into ECNL next season, moved on with a 2-1 win against HTX and YMS put its offense on display with a 3-0 win against Natioals - Capital Area.

U14 Bracket

Another reigning champion was knocked off in the quarterfinals as Sporting Whicita dispatched SF United FC 4-0, while Solar SC also advanced with a shutout by beating CESA 3-0. Pacesetter handed RISE SC a 2-1 defeat and Folsom Lake Surf defeated Delaware FC 3-1.

U13 Bracket

The only age group to feature multiple matches needing penalty kicks, Los Gatos United advanced in PKs against Delaware FC and East Coast FC moved on against Sporting Columbus. The other two teams advancing are Columbus Force and HTX, defeating Houstonians FC and Legends FC, respectively.
